Design
Design a lush hand painted palm leaf print in both a dark and light variation.
They provided a wallpaper image from Hackney & Co as their inspiration (first image on the left on the mood board).

I aimed for the print to have a real holiday vibe: loose flowing foliage that reminds you of the wind blowing through the palm leaves on a tropical island.
I used reference photos to paint the leaves with watercolours. The artwork was scanned and reworked and put into a seamless repeat layout in Photoshop. I played with the colours, adding depth and richness to create the final design.
