Hello!
I’m Meryl, a visual and information designer combining creativity with precision to transform ideas into clear and engaging visuals. With a background in visual storytelling, project coordination and surface pattern design, I’ve worked with clients from small independent businesses to large international companies, developing design work across marketing and textiles.
Alongside my design work, I’ve taken on organisational roles that strengthened my skills in communication and problem solving in fast paced environments.
I’m especially interested in roles where design meets strategy, such as information design and data storytelling/visualisation. I aim to create work that not only looks beautiful but also makes information more accessible and impactful.
In my spare time, you’ll find me mountain biking, snowboarding, by the ocean, travelling or learning a new skill.

"It has been a pleasure working with Meryl. Her amazing talent and creativity as a designer are equally matched by her ability to take direction for our needs. She has a very quick turnaround and a great breadth of style and technique in her work. We look forward to continuing to work with her."

"Meryl is a design chameleon, whom I have worked with on a project basis for a few years. I have recently launched gender neutral fashion label Reuben Avenue, for which she has designed the brand logo and a hand painted planet print for the line. She brings a fresh perspective and adaptability to our projects. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Meryl and would highly recommend her work."
Eoin Dillon - Founder of Reuben Avenue

"Meryl's creativity is a combination of boldness and femininity that is extremely flattering on all silhouettes. I have been lucky enough to work with Meryl on a custom print where she went above and beyond to meet my vision! I highly recommend working with Meryl and will continue to collaborate with her in the future."

"I have had the pleasure of working with Meryl as a freelance artist with White Buffalo Studio. Meryl is always more than happy to work with us on custom designs on top of her weekly print directives. She also delivers on time and will offer multiple options. She manages to find the balance between our needs and her own personal style which we love. She has a great eye for composition, layout and color. She has so much to offer to whomever may employ."
Leslie Kenehan - Creative Director and Founder of White Buffalo Studio

Meryl designed the wrapping paper, packaging and logo for my independent jewellery business. She followed the brief which was to design prints based on the current collections. My jewellery reflects simplistic geometric shapes and is hugely influenced by Scandinavian minimalism. Meryl produced outstanding quality in her work and is extremely focussed on intricate detail. I am very impressed with the results and many customers have already commented on how beautiful it is. I would use her again without a second thought. Thank you Meryl, it was a pleasure to work with you!
