Brief
Create a floral print design combined with birds for our boho dress collection, as well as a border print to match.

From the birds I researched, I chose galah cockatoos for the print, seeing as the brand is Australian and they are native birds. They also have quite a presence with their colours and big feathers on top of their heads.
I sketched the elements and border with pencil on paper, after that I traced them on Procreate before importing them into photoshop to add colours and create the repeating layout.
Instead of making the birds very colourful I added floral patterns to show their decorative side.
Then I mocked up the design for the client to be able to visualise it on their garments.
